Food for Closing Thought





Certainly, one’s heard the tale:  “A person is what they eat?”

So, was that a myth or truth?  It’s been estimated one’s diet intake has a significant effect on cancer deaths.  There’s no particular food or drink consumed which contains the direct element to make a difference.  Yet, there are a number of mixtures to help minimize their #relationship with cancer.  Just to name a few:

Sweet Potatoes−Carrots−Mushrooms−Oranges−Fig Juice

Green Tea− Broccoli−Garlic−Figs−Grapefruits−Tomatoes

Lemon Peels−Nuts−Jalapenos−Cabbage−Avocados


Even in its Biblical Times, the “Figs’ Derivative” was a treatment substance.  Yup, its many components contain a powerful prescription for a variety of ailments, cancer included.  Much of its #medicinal value comes from having high levels of fiber, magnesium, potassium, vitamin C, and other nutrients.  The study of this substance is wide-spread.  One just needs to be diligent in seeking out the findings.  And its end results would be amazing!  So really, doesn’t eating properly make a difference?
